Ensuring universal access to information and digital services for all

At 5th floor, we believe that access to information and digital services should be universal, regardless of age, abilities, or the tools used.

Although our website is not legally required to comply with accessibility legislation, we have chosen to publish this statement as a matter of principle. It is part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment and reflects our mission: to design digital solutions that are useful, sustainable, and accessible to everyone.

This page outlines our accessibility commitment, actions already implemented, and planned improvements.

Conformance Level

5th floor has completely redesigned its website, integrating accessibility best practices from the design phase. A simplified internal audit was conducted by our UX team.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define standards for accessibility for people with disabilities. Compliance can be achieved at three levels: A, AA, and AAA.

Our website, https://5thfloor.be, is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA due to the non-conformities listed below.

Evaluation Results

To date:

The site structure follows semantic accessibility best practices (headings, lists, links).
Color contrast is compliant for most elements.
The website is navigable by keyboard and compatible with screen readers (tested with NVDA & VoiceOver).
Some visual content still lacks complete alternative text.
Interactive components (forms, menus) are being progressively improved.
