L\u2019IA aide les individus \u00e0 analyser, \u00e0 coder et \u00e0 apprendre plus rapidement que jamais. Pourtant, lorsque je repense \u00e0 mes vingt ann\u00e9es d\u2019exp\u00e9rience dans la mise en \u0153uvre de logiciels, j\u2019ai vu peu de projets de num\u00e9risation \u00e9chouer par manque d\u2019expertise individuelle. Le plus souvent, ils ont \u00e9chou\u00e9 parce que les organisations peinaient \u00e0 s\u2019accorder sur la marche \u00e0 suivre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cela m'am\u00e8ne \u00e0 me demander si nous accordons suffisamment d'importance \u00e0 l'apprentissage collectif, et pas seulement \u00e0 l'acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration individuelle ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vingt ans \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l'apprentissage collectif<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Au cours des vingt derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, nous avons assist\u00e9 \u00e0 de nombreux changements majeurs qui ont boulevers\u00e9 le secteur de l'informatique : le cloud computing, le d\u00e9veloppement mobile, le stockage de donn\u00e9es NoSQL\u2026 Mais les changements les plus marquants n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019ordre technologique. Ils ont surtout consist\u00e9 \u00e0 aider les gens \u00e0 apprendre et \u00e0 travailler ensemble plus efficacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pensez \u00e0 quelques-uns des changements majeurs :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>L'agilit\u00e9<\/strong> a raccourci les cycles de feedback entre les \u00e9quipes et les parties prenantes. Au lieu de passer des mois, voire des ann\u00e9es, \u00e0 documenter et \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre des hypoth\u00e8ses, les \u00e9quipes v\u00e9rifient r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement si elles s'attaquent bien au bon probl\u00e8me<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Le DevOps<\/strong> part d'un constat : aucun apprentissage organisationnel n'est possible quand ceux qui construisent le logiciel sont s\u00e9par\u00e9s de ceux qui l'exploitent. Les r\u00e9unir autour d'une responsabilit\u00e9 partag\u00e9e transforme les incidents de production, les m\u00e9triques et les retours utilisateurs en occasions d'am\u00e9lioration collective, plut\u00f4t qu'en reproches et passages de relais.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>La recherche UX et le design de services<\/strong> remettent en cause l'id\u00e9e que les besoins des utilisateurs se comprennent en d\u00e9battant d'hypoth\u00e8ses en salle de r\u00e9union. La recherche permet aux \u00e9quipes de valider ou d'invalider leurs hypoth\u00e8ses avant d'investir dans des d\u00e9veloppements co\u00fbteux.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Des cadres organisationnels comme <strong>Team Topologies<\/strong> et des bo\u00eetes \u00e0 outils comme <strong>Sociocratie 3.0<\/strong> gagnent du terrain parce qu'ils structurent les organisations autour des interactions entre les personnes. Pour b\u00e2tir des organisations qui conjuguent adaptabilit\u00e9 et efficacit\u00e9, il faut int\u00e9grer explicitement toutes les dimensions de la collaboration humaine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Des pratiques diff\u00e9rentes, des contextes diff\u00e9rents, mais un fil rouge commun : am\u00e9liorer l'apprentissage collectif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une premi\u00e8re le\u00e7on dans le secteur public<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2005, fra\u00eechement dipl\u00f4m\u00e9, j'ai rejoint une \u00e9quipe de d\u00e9veloppement logiciel charg\u00e9e de la d\u00e9claration des cotisations sociales en Belgique. Je pensais que le d\u00e9veloppement logiciel consisterait principalement \u00e0 concevoir des mod\u00e8les de donn\u00e9es et \u00e0 \u00e9crire du code. Au lieu de cela, j'ai rejoint une \u00e9quipe de plus de trente personnes livrant une nouvelle version chaque trimestre. La solution impliquait des syst\u00e8mes \u00e9crits en COBOL, d'autres en Java, ainsi qu'une pl\u00e9thore de syst\u00e8mes \u00e0 int\u00e9grer et de parties externes \u00e0 coordonner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce dont je me souviens le plus de cette p\u00e9riode, c'est l'effort investi pour construire une compr\u00e9hension partag\u00e9e du travail. Chaque cycle de livraison commen\u00e7ait par une grande r\u00e9union de lancement. Les \u00e9quipes se r\u00e9unissaient pour comprendre ce que nous cherchions \u00e0 accomplir, ce qui avait chang\u00e9 et o\u00f9 la collaboration serait n\u00e9cessaire. Le document de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de ces r\u00e9unions \u00e9tait un \u00e9norme fichier Word qui consignait les d\u00e9cisions et centralisait la connaissance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Je suis s\u00fbr que certains adeptes de l'agilit\u00e9 fr\u00e9miraient \u00e0 l'id\u00e9e de ces r\u00e9unions, mais elles ont permis que tout le monde soit sur la m\u00eame longueur d'onde, et c'est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette coordination que le reste a pu se faire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Une le\u00e7on s'est impos\u00e9e tr\u00e8s vite : le plus difficile n'\u00e9tait pas le logiciel. C'\u00e9tait d'aider les collaborateurs \u00e0 se comprendre et \u00e0 se coordonner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pourquoi la friction humaine est importante<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La collaboration humaine est chaotique et s'accompagne souvent de ce que nous appellerions des <em>complications.<\/em> Les parties prenantes sont en d\u00e9saccord. Les membres de l'\u00e9quipe n'osent pas s'exprimer. Nos meilleures intentions se perdent en chemin. Les d\u00e9cisions prennent plus de temps que pr\u00e9vu. Ces moments peuvent sembler inefficaces, et pourtant, c'est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment l\u00e0 que les hypoth\u00e8ses sont remises en question, que les consid\u00e9rations apparaissent au grand jour et qu'un sentiment d'appropriation collective se d\u00e9veloppe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aujourd'hui, l'IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative permet de contourner une grande partie de ces frictions humaines. Besoin de r\u00e9cits d'utilisateurs ? Demandez \u00e0 une IA. Vous n'avez pas envie d'\u00e9crire du code de test ? Confiez-le lui. Vous avez besoin d'informations pour cr\u00e9er des personas d'utilisateurs ? Simulez-les gr\u00e2ce aux outils g\u00e9n\u00e9ratifs. Cela pr\u00e9sente un int\u00e9r\u00eat certain, mais aussi des risques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plus nous gagnons en autonomie en tant qu'individus, moins nous avons de chances d'apprendre collectivement. L'IA peut ouvrir de nouvelles perspectives. Elle peut remettre en question les hypoth\u00e8ses. Elle peut m\u00eame simuler les points de vue de diff\u00e9rentes parties prenantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais l'IA ne peut pas susciter l'engagement. L'IA ne peut pas instaurer la confiance entre les \u00e9quipes. L'IA ne peut pas assumer la responsabilit\u00e9 de d\u00e9cisions difficiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le prochain d\u00e9fi<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans notre podcast Aventure Service Public, Alixe et moi \u00e9changeons r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement avec des personnes qui travaillent dans les services publics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce qui me frappe \u00e0 chaque fois, c'est que leur plus grande contribution r\u00e9side rarement dans leur expertise individuelle. Leur v\u00e9ritable valeur ajout\u00e9e r\u00e9side dans leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 faire progresser ensemble les personnes, les \u00e9quipes et les organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bon nombre des pratiques les plus efficaces mises en \u0153uvre au cours des vingt derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l'apprentissage en groupe.
